What information we collect & why do we collect it

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so – for example, to provide our services or to bill you.

  • Basic Account Information:
We ask for basic information from you in order to set up your account and provide you with access to our website. For example, we require individuals who sign up for a Spirit of D15 account to provide a username, password and email address–and that’s it.
We also offer a weekly newsletter that provides updates on content and events at Spirit of D15. Joining the mailing list is optional. You will have the option to opt-in to join the mailing list for the newsletter both during sign-up and when simply browsing around the website. We use mass-email software to send the emails that also gathers statics around email opening and clicks (using industry standard technologies) to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. You can unsubscribe to the newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email or by emailing asking for you to be unsubscribed.
  • Transaction and Billing Information:
When you purchase your subscription to Spirit of D15, you will need to provide additional personal and payment information that is required to process the transaction and your payment, such as your name, contact information, address and credit/debit card information. This is sent straight to the payment processor called Stripe without touching our servers.
  • Profile Information:
If you have an account with us, we collect the information that you provide for your profile. For example, if you have a Spirit of D15 account, your email is part of that public profile, along with any other information you put into your public profile, such as your name, gender, profession, interests, birthday or a photo. Whilst your profile information is not accessible to the general public, it is accessible to anyone using the Spirit of D15 website. So please bare that in mind when updating your profile.
  • Cookies:
A cookie is a small file which asks permission to be placed on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie stores certain information about the user. We use cookies when you login to Spirit of D15 to remember you, so that you don’t have to manually login again when you next visit the website. You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer.
  • IP Address:
